The Ministry Education, Culture and Universities and the City of Cieza have successfully tested a new protection system in one of the houses Medina Siyâsa reservoir which, according to provisional results obtained, could be applied to the rest of the Muslim village of the Middle Ages .
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Maria Comas, and the Mayor of Cieza, Antonio Tamayo, held a working meeting with technicians, architects and archaeologists, both of the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage and the Directorate General of Culture of the Generalitat Valenciana and the City, the provisional results of the system used actions and refurbishment for public and patrimonial visit of the site were analyzed, as well.
Maria Comas noted that "Siyâsa is, according to experts, one of the most important sites and richest of the peninsula, and from Culture will continue to work with the City to preserve and continue to be a reference for researchers. In addition, citizens can better understand and enjoy this unique space that allows us to look to the past and deepen our culture. "
