The candidate of IU-Greens / Win Cieza highlights a plan against truancy and school failure and another to improve school life.
Thursday, has appeared at a press conference the candidate of IU-Greens / Win Cieza, Nerea Martínez, to present the municipal education program ciezana left.
Martinez has started ensuring that if his political option governs the municipality, the Department of Education will take over as main objective the development and promotion of the Municipal School Board as the backbone and instrument and organ of democratic participation of the entire educational community in the municipality, prioritizing immediate allocation of budgets and sufficient means to exercise the powers and proper functions;
update its rules to make it a useful tool for counseling, consultation, proposal and participation in education;
and creating various committees working within the same to prepare an initial diagnosis based on the educational situation of the municipality.
From here, it has revealed that IU-Greens / Win Cieza raised 17 proposals, of which has begun to highlight two issues of great importance: the actual development of the Municipal Plan against truancy and school failure, in collaboration with the Ministry Education;
and a four-year plan, agreed with the various schools of the town, to improve school life, including the dignity and recognition of the work of teachers.
Also, Nerea Marínez has declared his candidacy considered key "to create a Municipal School Children responsible for ensuring the quality of educational services offered and the regularization and regulation of the operation of the School of Music and the election of their organs managers ".
Similarly, he stressed the commitment of IU-Greens / win Cieza by improving, updating and promotion of early intervention services;
the location of the Standing Section of the Official School of Languages ​​in a more suitable for the development of its business premises;
and the achievement of a branch of the UNED.
Other measures submitted, are the implementation of "a municipal bus to make at least morning and evening travel back and forth to college campuses, to offset the cost of transport to the benefit of all the students Scholarships are reduced because of the cuts, the return to free school transportation to IES Los Albares, and the revision of the agreements with the various public schools, with new content including the use of facilities outside school. Also Martinez, stressed the creation of a municipally owned cafeteria for children from families with precarious economy;
the development of a bank of thematic resources;
and a municipal public initiative to offer extracurricular activities in schools outside school hours, with compensatory and complementary to the academic training character.
Finally, the candidate has said it will conduct a study on the state of school buildings and their immediate surroundings (traffic control, security, hygiene and sanitation, etc.) to make an agreement with the Ministry of Education to establish a schedule of performances in schools, where priorities for action to improve their status is established.
