The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'MOMI', established to investigate the theft of 800 euros neglect in a public establishment of Cieza raised money for a charitable activity, which culminated with the arrest of the alleged perpetrator theft.
Meritorious initiated the investigation after learning of the theft of a large amount of cash at a local Cieza.
According to the complainant, as he performed the previous preparations to the public opening, an individual entered the premises and, taking advantage of an oversight, appropriated two vessels containing 800 euros and fled the scene.
The stolen money was the result of the funds raised in a charity campaign that is being conducted in order to help a child with a serious disease "rare" and referred only 14 cases were recorded in Spain .
Thanks to the cooperation of citizens, researchers were able to identify the suspect in the theft, who would comprise numerous precedents for crimes of the same nature, also in the case of a leak-prone and very elusive individual.
Result of search mechanism set, the Civil Guard has located and arrested the Spanish suspect, 38 year-old resident of Cieza, on suspicion of felony theft which, together with the proceedings initiated, has been made available to the magistrate No. 3 of Cieza (Murcia).
