I call the Sonora ion ACC-2015, which comes from the hand of the entity that administers the Youth Orchestra of Cieza (IYCW), emerges with the desire to stimulate and support the current musical creation in the Murcia region and the to expand the repertoire written for various instrumental ensembles and solo instruments.
The call, which may attend national and foreign authors with works that have not been awarded previously, aims to provide a framework for the creation and experimentation, while facilitating the release, disclosure and documentation of selected works.
The jury will be constituted by the interpreter assigned to this call, international accordion Nikola Tanaskovic, the artistic director of the Young Orqueta of Cieza (IYCW), and a renowned composer;
and a representative appointed by the Art and Culture Association Cieza to collaborate with the jury, the final composition will be announced at the time of the failure to publicize it.
The prize is unique and gifted at 100 euros, plus the premiere of an interpreter internationally recognized (in this case borne by the accordionist Nikola Tanaskovic) during the week of ACC-ion Sonora in November 2015. The organization the audio and video documentation of the premiere in an emblematic architectural place in the city of Cieza is committed to carrying out the studio recording of the work and provide it to the composer, as well.
The work and its publication also edited in addition shipping to national library collections.
The jury may propose other works of the second prize for interpretation during the week of ACC-ion Sonora in November 2015. The deadline for submitting works to the contest ends next Monday, October 26.
