Pascual Lucas, accompanied by the councilor Maria Jesus Lopez, has participated this weekend in the capital of Spain in the XI Plenum of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
Following the election of officers of the plenary, responsible for directing the various debates, they were chosen different tables that have chaired and organized the activity of the four working committees, responsible for debating the motions and amendments thereto. The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, has been the secretary of the Bureau of Social Cohesion, which was chaired by the mayor of Ciudad Real, Pilar Zamora.
The event was held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid attended by nearly 800 mayors and councilors in all Spain.
Lucas and Lopez took advantage of his stay in Madrid to meet Friday with national leaders of the PSOE, including its general secretary, Pedro Sanchez.
The Eleventh Plenary Session of the FEMP, meeting to which they were called to involve all members of the Federation, has served to elect new governing bodies of this organization (junta, territorial council as well as chairman and vice) and set the tone for the work of the FEMP over the next four years.
