That is the question that arises when we find what we seek in life.
Then they appear, not one, but many, becoming aware of the reality around you.
Any NGO can help soothe those concerns but Spanish Red Cross gives you the opportunity to participate in many social projects: Relief and Emergency Social Intervention, fundraising and volunteer to support Red Cross ....
Emergency relief and displayed on each output a huge potential volunteers, providing enthusiasm, professionalism and above all human greatness.
Here in Cieza Red Cross, in the section on Social Intervention we have developed several programs, the Food, Social assistance, tutoring, support and respite.
The "respite" program is to give relief to people caring for family members with long-term illness.
In return we receive affection, gratitude, learning that enriches our daily life.
Saturday was special because, with volunteers involved in the program, the family made a trip to Los Alcázares to see the beach.
It is not the first exit they do but it has been very emotional because Trinidad, 82 years has seen first beach because Piedad with a disease that has confined to a wheelchair has been swimming in the sea after many Sergio years or because a severe disability could feel the coolness of the water ...
Certainly the best of the day was the face of Trinidad during the three hours he was on the beach.
Almost wordlessly practically fixed eye on the sea, said that in the time left in life never forget the sound of the waves.
As volunteers we hope to have many more days like this because volunteering is give and take life a little more.
