The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, has signed two agreements on economic cooperation with the presidents of two local associations dedicated to the care of people suffering from different kinds of disabilities and Alzheimer's, particularly with Pepe Piñera Tocaos Wing and Villa Filomena Acifad .
The agreements, whose items belong to the Department of Social Welfare directed by Cristina García-Vaso, involve quantities of 8,000 euros for the group of people with physical disabilities and 5,000 Ala Tocaos for ciezana Association of Families of People with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Pascual Lucas said that the signing of these agreements "is a source of satisfaction and pride in being able to make an agreement of this kind to help these groups that claim to do the most egalitarian life its users with an important job, slaughtered and often misunderstood. They perform a great public work and can not stay outside help so that they can carry out their activities. We should not be standing before their economic needs, which are serious ".
The presidents of both associations thanked the City Council collaboration, stating that "a grain of economic arena becomes for us an important dose of resources to properly serve our users."
The amounts allocated to both groups are the same as those contained in the latest agreements signed with the two, stating the mayor that when the next municipal budgets are drawn up, it intends to review these figures.
