The economic development plan that Pascual Lucas wants to Cieza begins to take important steps for their implementation.
The government team started this "big project" with the creation of the Office of Fundraising, which aims to attract investment and attract financial resources for the municipality.
But both the mayor Lucas, as the Councillor for Employment, Antonio Moya, believe that all these initiatives have to be put in place with the collaboration of the social agents of the municipality.
Therefore, this week a meeting with the Association of Industrialists of Cieza held.
One of the points discussed was the first link in the chain to realize the 'Plan for the promotion and use of Cieza', the Office of Fundraising, recently created with the aim of bringing together all the open calls for attract investment and raise funds that generate wealth and jobs for local residents.
In this office any documents related to EU funds (EAFRD, ERDF, LEADER, ESF, Horizon 2020) will be revised, regional, national gazettes and any announcement relating to apply for grants that can consult and projects of Foundations ( La Caixa, BBVA, MAPFRE).
The meeting was used to inform the partnership on a proposal for training in foreign trade, "which can be carried out in ciezanas companies in order to increase competitiveness and create jobs and wealth in the municipality."

Municipal sources say that "the city has major projects designed to generate employment. One of them is the creation of a common workspace, intended both for the association of entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs and located on the premises of the Department of Economic Development at the Center for Employment Initiatives. This space will have an office with internet access, a meeting room and a training room, and allow independent professionals, entrepreneurs, and SMEs from different sectors share a workspace both physical and virtual, to develop their professional projects independently, while encouraging joint projects, promoting co-working.
This second meeting with the Association of Industrialists of Cieza concluded, according to these sources, with positive feedback from attendees "and, above all, with commitments of both parties to continue working hand in hand between the municipality and the sector Business Cieza as the linchpin of economic development of the municipality. "
