Invoices presented in the Consistory of Cieza have become payable from 42 days from issuance according to the latest analysis, the 34 that are paid today.
The City of Cieza, through the Department of Finance, has managed to subtract the amount of time to pay the bills to suppliers for services they the Consistory, and so is evident from the figures known concerning the third quarter of 2015, and he already has the full City this past week.
The Department of Finance announced that, "according to the measuring method used by the Ministry of Finance in the first quarter of 2015 the average period of global payments to suppliers stood at 6.48 days, in the second there was a slight rise up the 7.33 days and was in the third quarter that took place the significant reduction to which we refer, reaching the figure of 0.64 days. "
It is noted that this method of measurement does not take into account or a minimum of processing nor the days that elapse during the processing of payments through compensations among others.
For this reason, and in order to translate these indicators into "real days", it is reported that during the third quarter, the average payment period was 34 days from submission of invoice until the monetary amount is perceived, achieving a significant reduction to be earlier in the second quarter in 42 "calendar days".
Finance Councilman Antonio Ignacio Martinez-Real, stated that "it is a priority that payments are made as expeditiously as possible, as a catalyst for the economy of companies and businesses."
The mayor also reported to have paid all outstanding invoices from 2013, that "accumulated nearly three years late, which will further reduce the average payment period in the next quarter."
