Cieza City Council has renewed the signing of collaboration agreements with entities New Foundation Los Albares and Ascope.

The first will receive 7,000 euros in conducting a school awareness campaign on intellectual disability and paper recycling workshops aimed at schools.

While 2,000 euros will go to the Regional Association of Parents and Guardians of Disabled Intellectuals (Ascope) to cover a school awareness campaign on intellectual disability and respite program.

At the signing ceremony attended by the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas;

Ascope president, Teresa Juliá, and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Cristina García-Vaso, who attended as president of the board of the New Foundation Los Albares.

García-Vaso noted that the amounts allocated for this year were already fixed.

"For the financial year 2016 we want to establish objective criteria when creating agreements and subsidies. And there are quite a difference between associations and others. So we want to do in terms of projects."
