Cieza City Council has appealed to residents to support the events planned for this Wednesday, November 25, by the Department of Women and Equality to raise awareness against this social scourge that is gender violence and to honor all women who are victims of any form of violence, especially those who lost their lives for this cause.
So, on Wednesday at 19.00 pm in the Plaza de San Juan Bosco, a march against gender violence which will run to the corner of Convent in honor of those killed in domestic violence it will start.
On arrival at the Convent corner, reading the manifesto institutional Autonomous Region of Murcia against gender violence will take place and candles will be lit in tribute to all the victims.
The day will conclude with a concert against gender violence by the 'Quintet Manuel Lopez Villalba Lutes', in the very corner of the Convent at 19.30.
Recall that this morning, at 10.00, was an official event in the college Jaime Balmes against gender violence in education, with reading manifestos made by students, reading the manifesto institutional Autonomous Murcia against gender violence, the center of the delivery protocol in cases of violence against women in education, sharing among students in violentómetros, minute of silence for women killed by gender violence and purple balloons loose and human bond.
This act is intended to make each year in a school in the town rotatably.
