On Saturday November 29th, at Club Atalaya- Ateneo de la Villa it took place the second Open Assembly of IU-Greens Cieza, coinciding with the end of the year and almost the first half of this Organization's participation in the Government of Cieza.
A heavy agenda, for three hours, was the backbone of a fruitful and enlightening meeting in which attendees mandataron clear lines of action to ideological, organizational and political level.
First, the Assembly expressed its unanimous support and all other members of the PAH immersed in a possible trial for the defense of Art. 47 of the Constitution and the request to transfer to the Government of Cieza to request institutional support to this cause.
As a major issue, which starred the debate, "accountability, participation in the Government of Unity and future positions."
Following a presentation by the Coordinator of the Federation of the Left and First Deputy Mayor of the City, Francisco Saorín of the points contained in the Government Agreement, compliance aspects are found Citizen Participation, commitment Cieza government for a Free Fracking, reducing the cost of the Corporation and the improved management of the Department of Social Welfare.
Moreover, the failure of some of the points contained in the agreement was also found;
aspects related to the development of a common program of government, continued consensus in any case for decision making, clarification of the economic situation of the City and boost job creation.
To redress this situation, the Assembly mandated its representatives and councilors in the Government of Unity for urgent processing, together with its partners in government, a common government program in order to clearly define a joint project of city and work the remainder of the legislature, I calendaring and budgeted;
program actions, prior to approval, must be made aware at least of this House.
The second highlight to move the government is the need to value the use of consensus in any case when making any decision or discuss any aspect affecting the global citizenship, as guarantor of the cohesion of the government, to prevent drift of it and their delegations to "watertight compartments";
this aspect clearly reflected in the document Unity Government Agreement.
As for the third point to redirect, this Assembly called for were carried out audits deemed necessary in order to conform with the commitment to inform the public complete and detailed information on the economic, financial and cash Hall Cieza.
In the opinion of this House the fourth essential point for the proper conduct of the Government of Unity, is the immediate commitment to the development of employment, so urge the three parties to develop a specific document to develop an employment plan.
Finally requested, with particular forcefulness, the immediate creation of the Monitoring Committee of the Agreement on Government shall supervise the performance or breach thereof, and all the above aspects.
The Assembly of Cieza IU-Greens expressed his commitment in reviewing requests the Government transferred the expiration of the first year in office, while deemed sufficient for the consolidation of the Government of Unity.
Cieza IU-Green maintains its confidence in the good work of this government and greatly appreciates the work done by councilors in such a short period of time.
In another vein, a renewal of Local Political Council, which happens to be composed of twelve people, the creation of various working committees in support of the council of IU and the creation of support by the Organization Secretariat agreed , which was awarded to two young, Maria Cano and Pablo Garcia.
A meal, between affiliated and supporters, said assembly closed with the dismissal as Councilman José Eduardo Illueca and welcome the new councilor, Nerea Martinez.
