The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, renewed with the Association for Culture and Leisure of the Major (Acutima) the agreement promoted by the Department for the Elderly whereby the Consistory will provide financial support to this group for conducting playful activities.
At the signing ceremony, which took place Tuesday in the plenary hall of the Town Hall, attended by the councilor, Pascual Lucas;
Councillor Seniors, Cristina García-Glass, and the president of Acutima, Bartholomew Martinez.
The economic amount set in the agreement with Acutima amounts to 1,000 euros.
Lucas praised the relationship in recent years between City Hall and Acutima noting that "could not be more satisfactory, because it is a very old collaboration. We want to continue increased our relationship with it, who turns twenty-fifth anniversary year come".
He wanted to emphasize that this association is a group of reference in the world of the elderly.
Martinez, meanwhile, thanked the municipal aid and recalled that the City is the "engine" of the activities scheduled throughout the year.
At ninety years old, this ciezanos has become a beloved person because of his dedication to the elderly.
There is no denying that you knew how to manage an association which currently has about 1,400 members.
Acutima was created in 1991 and has responded to many of the concerns and needs which have submitted the largest in the municipality, developing socio-cultural projects and programs of all kinds.
In the last fifteen years the board has worked closely with the Department for the Elderly at different programs and actions at the municipal level.
