They stole 1,500 plastic containers for agricultural products worth more than 6,000 euros

The Civil Guard has developed an investigation into the theft of a large amount of plastic packaging of an agricultural cooperative Murcia (Spain), which has led to the arrest of two people for the crime of burglary, and the recovery, the Alicante town of Elda, of all the stolen effects, 1,500 boxes of plastics for agricultural products worth more than 6,000 euros.

An agricultural cooperative reported to the Civil Guard committing a theft at its facilities in Cieza, in which several people, using force, agreed into a store and stole 1,500 plastic boxes used to transport farm products collected.

Team agents ROCK (fighting equipment Theft in the field) of the Civil Guard began the investigation in order to clarify the criminal act with the identification and arrest of the perpetrators and, if necessary, the recovery of stolen material.

The first performances were held at the site of the robbery, where researchers could see that the authors had forced automatic gateway to the enclosure and, very quickly, accessed the interior with a truck that was loaded numerous plastic boxes and fled not without first putting the automatic door in their home to avoid suspicion.

Parallel and fruit of the collaboration between the teams ROCK Murcia and Alicante, a few hours later it was detected that a waste management center of Elda (Alicante) two persons, whose physical description matched those suspected of committing the theft, had delivered boxes similar to the stolen in Cieza, so that the correspondence of the same was verified and seized to return them to their owner.

Once fully the alleged perpetrators of the robbery identified, the Civil Guard established a search on them, culminating with the location, arrest and subsequent remand in custody, suspected of the crime of burglary.

Those arrested two men, Spaniards, 35 and 40 years, residents of Elda (Alicante) and a long criminal record, together with the effects seized and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 1 of Cieza ( Murcia).

The close collaboration between the ROCA Team Area Command Murcia and Alicante has been crucial to the resolution of the investigation, which is framed in the 'Plan against theft on farms and livestock. "
