The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM) during the regular meeting held on Tuesday in Murcia.
In the nomination for the election of the executive committee said Lucas shared list with the mayors of Lorquí, Cartagena, Lorca, Moratalla, Sewer, San Pedro del Pinatar, Jumilla, Mula and Ulea.
It has gone ahead by acclamation previous consensus of political forces.
This meeting, which is held every four years, after the municipal elections, is responsible for choosing the bodies of the FMRM.
Pascual Lucas "is very important that Cieza is represented on the Executive Committee of the FMRM, because it will allow work on the front line and together with the other mayors of the region in the interests of our town, and placing Cieza in place that corresponds".
