The Governing Council authorized the execution of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the Municipality of Cieza for the upgrading of service roads located in that municipality.
The roads affected are: Las Cañadas, rounded head, with the slide and Olmico width, which have a total length of 10.3 kilometers.
The Ministry will prepare the project works together with the City, and this will provide the land necessary for the proper performance of it, getting to do all necessary permits and authorizations, whether public or private.
Upon completion of the works will be delivered the same to the City Council, which shall ensure its proper preservation and maintenance in subsequent years for that purpose, the required amounts in their municipal budgets.
The budget of the work amounts to 400,000 euros, which will be funded 50 percent by the Ministry and City Hall.
