The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, has delivered, along with the Mayor of Cieza, Antonio Tamayo, keys of the new homes have been built within the Regional Youth Housing Plan 2005-2008.
The houses, which have been promoted by a public company, has been built on an area of 1115.8 meters square in the streets Olivas, Blasco Ibáñez and Courtesy.
Of the 37 homes built, two are for people with disabilities, 21 have two bedrooms and the rest, one and three.
Ballesta highlighted during the event supported by the Ministry to this type of action for youth and the effort that "we do every day from the regional government to address the needs of the inhabitants of 45 municipalities in our region in housing" .
The counselor also recalled that the Ministry of Public Works continues to work to give young Cieza the possibility of having their first home.
In that regard, he noted that "they are also promoting solar homes on property protected IVS, located in Manuel de Falla and the Avenida José Ríos Gil." It's 25 houses with their garages and storage rooms ranging in price between 93,072 euros and 43,961 euros, with an area of 90 sq meters for 4 bedroom homes.
The new houses, aimed at local youths have been promoted by the Municipality of Cieza in collaboration with the Autonomous Community.
"It is essential to work in a coordinated manner, as in this case, local corporations because they are closer to the neighbors and they know exactly what their needs regarding the nature and location of housing," said the counselor.
More action in housing in the municipality
Moreover, the Ministry of Public Works has recently signed a cooperation agreement between the IVS and the Municipality of Cieza, rehabilitation, repair and improvement works of housing advocacy groups public has the Housing and Land Institute Region of Murcia.
The amount paid to the City Council IVS Cieza is 200,000 euros, which is for the design of these houses for rent, property of the region.
