The Auditorium Aurelio Guirao de Cieza received last Friday to more than 300 students in grades 5 and 6 of primary schools Abarán, Cieza, Murcia, El Palmar, who participated in the closing ceremony of the awareness campaign School organized by the Federation Murcia Association of People with Physical and Organic FAMDIF / COCEMFE.
This event will review some of the activities that have been done in the past four months in the schools in the Region of Murcia by volunteers of the 16 associations that make FAMDIF, and presented the prizes of the drawing contest included in this campaign to the winning students.
This year's winning schools were the CP Gloria Fuertes of El Palmar, for its "Open up to the world," the CP Abarán Fahuaran of the work "The law of the nature of men is equal," the CP Jerome Belden Cieza for the paper "We can walk and fly", and the CP Our Lady of Carmen de Murcia with his work "Without Barriers."
Each school received a prize for teaching materials, cultural and leisure activities, and presented diplomas to the students participating.
Besides students, teachers and members of associations, the event was attended by authorities such as D.
Antonio Tamayo, Mayor of Cieza, Ms. Marisol Morente, Director General of People with Disabilities, Ms Aurora Fernández, Director General of Academic, Carmen Gil, president of FAMDIF, and D.
Angel Soler, president of the Association of Physically Handicapped Cieza "Touch Wing," who offered to go to school at the Closing and thank all the activities and involvement of all to develop this campaign.
In developing this act took the animation group "OCIOTEMP" who was responsible for presenting and managing the closing with the staging of child representation in which some activities were conducted with the participation of students, which helped create an atmosphere of fun and entertainment throughout the auditorium.
With the closing ceremony ended an awareness campaign on physical disabilities, the Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities Murcia Physical and Organic done for 17 years in various Primary Schools in the Region with the aim of promoting acquisition and assimilation of knowledge and positive attitudes to achieve the greatest number of students a higher level of social awareness on the integration of people with physical disabilities, as well as the adoption of preventive habits and knowledge of major risk factors
