The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, today visited the Hospital de Cieza and the works of Cieza Health Centre West in the town of Murcia.
Palacios experienced first hand the new facilities in the Emergency, Laboratory and Radiology premiered at the Hospital de Cieza, which has recently become part of the public network Murciano Health Service (SMS).
The hospital opens a new, ultramodern computer for clinical analysis laboratory, MRI last generation and a new theater in the ER.
Parker used his visit to Cieza to know the status of work on the new Health Centre which will cover the west of the city, and to be completed before this summer.
The counselor explained that "improvements in health care in the Hospital de Cieza respond to the constant interest to provide the best specialized care to the citizens of the Region, in an ongoing commitment to technological renewal in our hospitals."

The total investment in the work of packaging and equipment for the new emergency surgery amounts to 410,000 euros.
