Aurelio Auditorium Guirao de Cieza hosted last Saturday's second semifinal of the national competition gala Artists & Point.
The event was attended by Miss Murcia 2008, Ana Maria Ruiz, responsible for the presentation of documents.
A total of nineteen artists from different genres of music and dance took the stage, becoming more difficult the work of the jury to reduce this number to seven artists in the form of song and four in the form of dance that will participate with the finalists selected the first semifinal at the gala final of the competition.
It is noteworthy that many of the participants in Saturday's semifinal, led by Antonio Oliva and Iban Guardiola, have been on the verge of important programs like Pop Idol or X Factor and now are in this competition a new opportunity to pursue in future to art world.
In short, a day in which these young people demonstrated their talents on stage.
The finalists in the category of song are the following:
José Ángel Martínez (Murcia), Laura Ibáńez (Alicante), Carlos Marco (Alicante), Alexandra Herrera (Alicante), Alba Cantos (Caudete) Aránzazu Fries (Alicante) and Teresa Martinez (Callosa de Segura).
The finalists in the category of dance are:
Noelia Nunez (Valencia), Jesus Chum (Sewell), Mireia Herrando (Bétera) and Juan José Hernández (Murcia).
