The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, announced today that the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade has granted to the Municipality of Cieza a loan of 930,000 euros for the construction of a Center for Folklore.
González Tovar added that the loan has been granted under the State Financial Fund for Tourism Infrastructure Modernization (fomites), the criteria for granting loans were modified in November by the Government to make them more flexible and facilitate access to this source of funding (long-term loans and low interest rate.)
The draft submitted by the City of Cieza whose funding has been approved by the Government of Spain is building a Center for Folklore and Traditions which will include a Museum of Ethnology and Folklore, a Craft Centre and Municipal School of Folklore , among other services, to host the group's Songs and Dances of Cieza and the International Folklore Festival in Segura
