The Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine have signed an agreement for the development of forest hydrologic restoration activities with the aim of promoting various jobs for afforestation and forest water hydrotechnics correction.
The Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine allocated 1.7 million euros in the next two years to carry out this work.
The Ministry for its part is responsible for the supervision of the work, drafting and project coordination.
In particular, the actions consist of hydro-environmental restoration of river basins to the Rambla de Las Loberas and improvement of infrastructures, and slopes Valdeinfierno, Luchena and neighboring basins located in the town of Lorca.
And work in the forest hydrological correction in the spot-Salinas High House in Caravaca de la Cruz, as well as the recovery of the fire area through silvicultural treatments and repair of roads in Cieza.
