In total in the municipality will be 17 projects with a budget of more than 6'1 million
The Government of Spain has paid 157,361,089 million euros in 604 works of the Murcia region involving the creation of 12,426 jobs so far
Has begun to pay the final part of the project funding from the State Fund
The Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, reported this morning that the City Council of Cieza will carry out 17 projects funded in full by the Local Investment Fund for a total of 6,176,535 euros, which will create about 159 jobs.
Tovar González pointed out that these works were selected by the City Council and subsequently approved by the Government Delegation in the first instance, and the then Ministry of Public Administration later.
The Government representative stated that the Government of Spain has already paid to the Municipality of Cieza 70% of 4 works, which involved an investment of 2,710,874 euros.
The remaining 30% is paid once will justify the end of work each.
With regard to employment created by these four works, explained that already have generated 69 direct jobs of the 159 planned.
Of these, 26 are newly created and 43 of persons within the successful tenderers.
Moreover, the Government Delegate and the Mayor of Cieza, have visited this morning some of the works being undertaken in the municipality under the Local Investment Fund.
The first visit was made to the balcony of the Wall, a place that is the subject of two of the 17 projects in total will be performed in the municipality under the FEIL.
One of these projects, amounting to EUR 1,100,000, provides for integrated action in the area, strengthening, consolidating and cleansing in one part, while another will be a new wall.
In this regard, the Government Delegate and the Mayor have remembered that this work is to both ensure the work of containment walls and improve the aesthetics of them.
The second project being carried out on the Balcony of the Wall, with an investment of 230,000 euros, includes the refurbishment of the area, affecting the pavement, street furniture, trees, etc.
They also visited the Sports Pavilion, where the investment is made stronger (2,462,970.88 euros) of all running from the said Fund.
The works include, besides the area for sports, sporting goods store, etc..
With respect to the other projects approved and under implementation are the following:
-Renovation works in the canoeing club that has a budget of 131.021.62 euros and will employ 8 people.
-Circuit Driver Education EUR 229,349.89 worth and will employ 8 people.
-Resetting the pavements of the streets Pablo Iglesias, General Ruiz, Santa Ana, Santa Gertrudis, General Espartero, Salvador Seguí and Perez Cervera 231,957.34 worth of euros and employ 8 people.
Streets, pedestrian areas Padre Salmeron and Santa Gertrudis and replacement of pavements of the streets Good Success and Catholic Monarchs with a budget of EUR 247,012.52 and will employ 8 people.
Street to pedestrian-General Prim 209,622.41 worth of euros and take up to 8 people.
Paving of outdoor areas, Phase II in the Public School Antonio Buitrago Gomez has a budget of EUR 91,595.03 and will employ 6 people.
"Repair works of toilets in the CP St. Bartholomew with an investment of EUR 38,976.00 and will employ 6 people.
"Paving the streets of Cubic, Fortress and Lowering the Bridge at a cost of 149,999.99 euros and employs 4 people.
-Sports area and parking in the Spot Trail Puncha with a budget of 390.193.60 Euro and will employ 10 people.
-Construction of perimeter fence in place of Jerome CP Belda with an investment of EUR 50.601.04 and will employ 5 people.
-Paving of outdoor areas in PA San Bartolomé with a budget of EUR 57,507.59 and will employ 6 people.
Quad-conditioning block between the streets Garcilaso de la Vega, and Fernando Velarde Daoiz and III in the amount of 128.615.77 euros and employ 4 people.
"Reform of changing rooms and common areas in the Soccer Camp Grove 208,800.00 worth of euros and will employ 8 people.
The Local Investment Fund to date
Moreover, Gonzalez Tovar reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 41 municipalities in the region EUR 157,361,089, corresponding to 604 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.
Also pointed out that 30% is being delivered upon completion of each performance and justify the investment with the Government of Spain.
In this sense, González Tovar explained that since late last June, is beginning to pay the completion of the work of the State Fund in the Region of Murcia.
In particular, Lorca and Santomera municipalities have already received payment of three of its projects.

Likewise, the delegate explained that the number of jobs created and financed the works awarded the Local Investment Fund, to date, is much higher than originally planned, so finally it is estimated that the number of jobs is some 13,000 jobs.
The Government delegate pointed out that the Region of Murcia has been the recipient of 246.3 M € of this fund and once the presentation phase of projects, 673 projects submitted were approved by the 45 municipalities in the region.
