The director general of Transport and Ports, Carmen Sandoval, a vehicle delivered today to the Association of Relatives and Cieza Mentally Ill (AFEMCE).

During the ceremony, the director general, who was accompanied by President of the Association, Josefa Ruiz said that "the vehicle is designed to transport users for their assistance both as a center for travel, outings and excursions."
In this regard, he added that "This will improve the transport service provided by this association to its users for the transport of the various treatments affected the association and on the other hand, specific movements for any type of management usually care. "
Sandoval noted that grant applications have increased significantly and, therefore, this year has funded the purchase of 19 vehicles to non-profit institutions, almost double that of 2008.
He also stressed the importance of these grants as "contributing to universalizing the right to mobility for all citizens of the Region of Murcia."
AFEMCE was created in 1998 and its main task is to defend the rights of persons with mental illness and their families, so their main purpose is to improve the lives of this group.
