"The Flowering Cieza" program of cultural and leisure activities taking place in this city during the spring months, was presented today at the Chancellor of the University of Murcia.
Cieza Mayor Antonio Tamayo, announced the offer of the seventh edition of this initiative, which begins on March 7 with two hiking trails, including a visit to the abyss of Serreta cave and valley of the former Siyasa.
Outdoor activities are also present in the program, which includes rafting and canoeing on the river Segura, guided tours of the historic old town and a path of unique trees.
During the month of April, will take place the spring concert by the Band of the Municipal School of Music, to be followed by another in May outdoors played by the Band of the Conservatory Master Gómez Villa, and the course of nature photography .
"The Flowering Cieza" is filled with the V Conference on Poetry of the Segura, which coordinate Soren and Eduardo López Peñalver Pascual, the cycle of lectures on culture and the Mediterranean landscape and the national competition of painting outdoors "City Cieza, all these activities in the month of May.
The presentation ceremony was chaired by Francisco Guillermo Diaz, rector of University Extension, University of Murcia, an institution that contributes to the activity, and in him, Jesus also spoke Galindo, managing director of Region of Murcia Turística, SA, another collaborating entities.
