The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, met with the residents of Area Comprehensive Rehabilitation Orrio Sanz de Cieza, to inform and aid the community-driven action to recover the urban area.
The project covers a total of 6,475 meters square and rehabilitation includes 192 homes, distributed in blocks of three storeys, along three blocks adjacent to the plaza Orrio Sanz, southeast of the town, between Calle José Ríos Gil, Pablo Casals , Camino de Murcia and Azorín Avenue, next to the bullring.
Additionally, the area will have all urban services and green areas.
This intervention will involve a total investment of over one million euros and includes the rehabilitation of facades, roofs, patios and entrances to buildings, which will lead to an improvement in the livability and energy efficiency in the blocks.
"This project," said Navarro, considered Comprehensive Rehabilitation Area, is part of an urban area that is expanding, so that raises the design of these blocks of housing for the residents can enjoy a comprehensive revitalization neighborhood that currently is growing. "
